GREAT BASIN ARTGreat Basin Art is the primary business for the Prairie Trading Post retail outlet.

The creativity of Dale Duby, the owner of Great Basin Art and the Prairie Trading Post, fills a gap as big as the space between miniature and gigantic.

He is renowned for his flintknapping skills and elegantly hand crafted obsidian knives. They grace the pages of major catalogs such as Sportsman's Guide, A.G. Russell Knives and Sportsman's Warehouse. His rustic juniper and blue pine furniture, lamps and accessories are bold and beautiful, and currently adorn the lofty, open space of the newly constructed Grant County Regional Airport lobby.

Each a work of art, the taffy pulled twists and turns of polished juniper creates an inspiring sculpture. His wife Claudia's crafts of basketry, wall hangings, and dried flower and feather arrangements blend well with Dale's woodworks.
